Spreading the joy all year round
ACFS is fortunate to have compassionate donors who make it possible for us to serve our famous peanut butter sandwiches and milk all year round

A day for young graduates
We love celebrating milestones; and threw fun-filled graduation parties at the end of 2017 for pre-schoolers from our Malnutrition Rehabilitation Programme

Opening parties are a back-to-school hit
Deloitte SA and City Property treated 100 children to “opening parties” to mark the opening of the new school year

Message from our Chairman

We fixed the floors, thanks to you!
Last year we appealed to donors to help refurbish broken floors at three ACFS feeding centres: Meadowlands, Jabavu and Emndeni.

Pulane’s our star performer
ACFS cook Pulane Makatise has been preparing meals at our Zola Malnutrition Centre for six years now

Watch our maize bags grow
We are seeing more beneficiaries turning their hands to our food gardens, and thats got a lot to do with the escalating cost of food and living

We love this gooey goodness
Peanut butter is nutrient-dense and is a healthy mix of fats, fibre, vitamins and nutrients.

Thank you for remembering us
In December, we felt honoured to receive a generous bequest from the estate of the late Mr Desmond Tozer

Uniting for Grade 9 learners
We are lending a hand to support Youth Success, a promising programme that’s been developed by United Way SA and Cummins Africa

Enjoying a rare treat - one of the lucky little ones who attended the Easter Party sponsored by International singing star, Celine Dion, who just wants children to be children for at least a day.
