Each piece is unique

Thandi Madela discovered a passion for design and beading during skills training at ACFS Jabavu a few years ago; and today she produces a range of beautiful beaded items. “I love design. I like to challenge myself to use colours in new ways. I create beaded items for events like weddings so it’s important to give a bride something unique and interesting.”

Thandi did basic beadwork training at Jabavu and it took her two years to master her skill. “I am so thankful to have this skill. I use my earnings to pay for school fees and medicine, and buy food like mealie meal. I thank all the ACFS donors for helping me become more selfsufficient.”
